Of Travels and of Sea
by Charles Dickens
Dickens is known almost exclusively as a novelist, but he was also a great travel writer as well as a great traveller. His wanderlust took him twice to The United States at a distance of twenty years, and fifteen times to Paris, as well as to other parts of France. He has described the everyday life of the places he visited, the social organisation and the different life styles. A good part of the book consists of unpublished work.
